As Head of Product at VC-backed Arturo, we set the standard for streaming video on the mobile web. Customers paid for our mobile video experience over Google's free option, allowing our streaming technology to reach millions.
In mid 2016 Instagram introduced "Stories", cementing the format as the standard for mobile video. In 2017 we launched Arturo, an enterprise SaaS video platform built to service the nascent format. With Arturo, brands used stories to drive conversions on their websites, apps, marketing channels and more. Plus we provided native production tools for brands to collaborate with their partners and internal teams, customize and brand content, and scale stories production at a fraction of the traditional cost. Arturo raised over $2M in funding and achieved a $350k annual revenue run rate with customers such as ESPN, Vice Media and NBC.
